As with previous polls I have conducted, I request that posts - other than voting - are made here rather than in the actual poll thread.

To kick things off, I have done a cut and paste of @Fuller Pilch 's post in the poll.

"Thoughts on how many matches / What percentage of matches someone has to keep?

ABDV played 228 ODIs with 59 ODIs as wicketkeeper, so kept in just over 25% of his matches.

In those 59 ODIs he averaged 70.54 at a run a ball."

Whatever the results of the thread I expect ABdV will be too low. Should be top 3 with Dhoni and Gilchrist. And I bet modern boshers from the 2 new ball/road/50m boundary era like Buttler and QdK will be too high

As far as #5-6 batsmen go, only Dhoni, Bevan, Hussey and Symonds are better than Buttler so surely his place is well earned. And De Kock is only a moderate downgrade on Gilchrist after era adjustment. There just haven't been that many good keeper bats. Even Gilchrist's batting record is only about as good as Sehwag. Ignoring modern players, there's Flower who was a decent batter but not ATG or anything and then you have pinch hitters like Moin and Mongia. KL Rahul is a better keeper batsman than anyone who debuted before 2000 and isn't named Adam Gilchrist.

I don't have MSD that high. A clear tier ahead for me.
I don't have MSD that low. For me it's

Viv
SRT
Kohli/ABD
Dhoni/Bevan
Abbas/Ponting/Rohit/Jones/Lara

So the keeping more than makes up for the batting difference really, probs even without the longevity.
