Yep, that is why I've been trading Draft picks...

It is possible to trade 2 players for 1, BUT...
Teams are still only allowed to keep 10 players including Draft picks...

The trades take place after we get rid of our players right? so that means in his final squad bugs will have 15, and broncoman 17, this seems a tad unfair.......!

Considering we have to take into our squad the people we are trading as well... I don't know if many people have taken that into account...

No the trades take place before the release...
then there will be another trade after the Draft....

So Bugs will get Warne before the cull and he will be included in his 10...

I made this clear to everyone, well i thought i did..

Well, in that case, Paid and my Deal will be finalised after the release, I am sure he will agree with me, as that is the way we arranged it.

It can't be finalised after the release because then u would have more than ur alloted amount of players...

We both pick ten players
He includes Ponting and Saker
I include Crowe

NOW, I get ponting and saker and a draft pick, this brings me to twelve players and seven draft picks, Paid goes down to 8 players and 5 draft picks
Then in return, He gets crowe, and two draft picks from me
This takes me to 11 players, with 5 draft picks, for a total of 16
then Paid ends up with 9 players, and 7 draft picks, a total of 16.

See?

For me, yes, but Paid has got other trade deals, which may affect his results, I am happy either way, but I have to consider the other manager as well...

I know that he has planned his trades to take place after the release...
Let me just check up on something..

Sorry bout that, just clarifying things for myself.. I was worried some managers were crucifying themselves, but it would appear not, which is good, now that I understand the trades happening beforehand as well..

So I get 11 Players, and 5 Draft Picks

But thats how i planned it, Some people will only keep 6,7 or maybe 8 players but there extra draft picks cover the other spots...

Thats a bit risky, having that many draft picks, in my opinion... you won't get exactly what you want....
Much prefer my position where I have a basic starting XI.
That way if I don't get what I want, then I won't be too badly off.

Yeah but thats the line some people are prepared to take...
Im ean there are 40 odd players in the academy sides, so at least the first 2 round picks will be good...
thats not including any players which are let go...
