NFL All-Time Draft

The Baconator

International Vice-Captain
Yeah, I've got Lane, will let Indipper pick now and Goughy make that up next time.

Yeah, a lot of teams without a quarterback ATM, I've got 5 I'd be happy with, guessing 3 of those are the same as yours.

My bad. I should really pay more attention to this thing. Something Indipper said made it sound like he had eyes on a certain QB, but he took Montana with the first pick.

Reinvented the position to what we now know. Big and quick and scared QBs

Rod Woodson (CB)

I was between a few guys when making this pick, but I think that the value of Rod Woodson is the greatest - and my pass defense is now ridiculous - two of the greatest cornerbacks ever, two of the greatest pass rushers ever, and Joe Greene bashing his way up the middle, eating up blockers.

Compulsory YouTube video

Woodson has been elected into the Hall of Fame, and will join this summer. His 71 interceptions (12 returned for TDs (an NFL record)) are the 3rd most in NFL history. His 1483 interception return yards are also an NFL record.

He has 11 Pro Bowls, 6 1st team All-Pros, Defensive Player of the Year in 1993 and was a starting CB on the 1990s All-Decade team (with Neon Deion). He moved over to safety towards the end of his career, but will play at cornerback for the 999ers. He will be the back-up kick and punt returner.

Jamee's 999ers:

David "Deacon" Jones (LDE)
"Mean Joe" Greene (DT)
"The Minister of Defense" Reggie White (RDE)
Deion "Prime Time" Sanders (CB/KR/PR/WR)
Rod Woodson (CB)

Steds is up for four picks?

Great defence, but you do realize that an NFL team has to score to win right? :p

Steds is skipped, and I just can't help myself.

Ray Lewis (MLB)

If you play offense, Ray Lewis hates you. Ray Lewis wants to hurt you. Ray Lewis is going to hurt you. And he won't be quiet about it. Ray Lewis will tell you he's going to hit you. Ray Lewis will hit you. Ray Lewis will tell you he's hit you. You won't want to go near Ray Lewis again.

Ray Lewis is the best linebacker in America, and puts up a strong claim to being the greatest middle linebacker ever. He was the leader of the best ever defensive team - the '00 Ravens, and lead them to a Super Bowl victory, and picked up the MVP award in the game. He won the Defensive Player of the Year award in 2000 and 2003. My team now has 8 DPOY awards (and Deacon's prime was before the award started).
