Neymar is one of the most over-rated players of my lifetime.

He was washed up at the age of 25, wasted the prime of his career in a joke league then ****ed off to Saudi and has flopped there as well.

Totally understand the Neymar hate (he didn't reach his absurd potential) but easily one of the best natural footballers of the last 20 years. In terms of technical skill and raw ability he's comfortably in the top 5 of his era.

Discipline issues, primadonna, and didn't have the longevity of Ibra, but lets not underplay how good he was at his best.

He stuffed up going to PSG and things went off the rails. Really should have been the successor to CR7/Messi and I think people are unnecessarily harsh due to his perception and antics.

The better question should be why is PSG such a graveyard for careers, and why do players still keep choosing to go there?

Donnarumma, Goncalo Ramos, Marquinhos, Neymar, Kolo Muani, Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha, Verratti, Icardi, Paredes, Danilo Pereira, Draxler, Kehrer, Meunier, Berchiche, Nkunku, Ben Arfa, Trapp, Goncalo Guedes etc.

The list of talented players that have had a steep decline in their careers after joining PSG is insane.
