This is how i am looking at running the off season.... Any opinions, questions or complaints please ask....


Week 1
* All Current managers(not new ones) will select a squad of 15 players from their division to represent them in the Divisional All Star game....
* All managers will send in the list of players of whom they wish to keep and get rid of....
* During this week managers will be permitted to trade Draft picks for players KEPT in their squads.....(so u cannot trade a player that u have released for a draft pick) This option will be available for this week only, and all notifications of trades must be placed through me 1st and approved before the usual weekly cut off time....

WEEK 2
* Teams for the All Star game will be announced and sent out to the managers who will be taking care of them(the managers will be announced that last wekk of the competition)
* The list of available players will be released for the draft...
* Managers will have to select a list of 48 players in order to go into the 1st round of the draft... Submit by normal time...

WEEK 3
* Games 1, 2 and 3 of the All Star series will be run....
* The 1st round of the draft will be run...
* Managers will submit a 2nd list of 48 players for their next 2 picks in the draft...

WEEK 4
* Games 4 and 5 of the All Star series will be run...
* The 2nd round of the Draft will be run...
* Managers will submit a final list of 48 players for the draft...

WEEK 5
* Managers have the 1 week option to trade players with other managers after the draft, with the usual cut off time and aprroval needed....

WEEK 6
* Week off whilst all new team data is updated ready for the new season.....

does that mean we keep 15 players now instead of 10
and will we post or email the trades
and with the draft how many picks do we get in one round?
In the end of the draft and trades how many team memebers will we have?

Looks good, except for one thing.

1) Couldn't the draft be held with one list of players wanted (wait that is a stupid idea from Paid!)

2) Could we have a practice game before the start of the season.

3) I don't know, what else to do, but hehe I am getting the first pick of the draft.

4) Will each of our team lists be sent out to us before the end of the season.

5) I am pretty sure what players I am dropping all of them!!!!!!!!!

That is my one point that I would like to make.

Yeah that is possible and would be easier maybe, but i thought 1 list of 144 players would be alot more difficult to do as managers will get near the end and go,"oh that should be enough when in fact they may need all of them...

2) Could we have a practice game before the start of the season.

This is a possiblity i just thought if we had that it would make the off season longer...

3) I don't know, what else to do, but hehe I am getting the first pick of the draft.

So u've already resigned urself to Div 3 next season hey paid???

U mean ur squad lists or ur season aves???

5) I am pretty sure what players I am dropping all of them!!!!!!!!!

Yeah all season data will be sent out after the final round of games...

What will happen Umpire Money is u will cull ur side down to 10 players, then u have the ability to trade 1 of those 10 players to another side in place of a selection in the draft, that way u would have ur selection, and possibly another selection...

Eg i could trade u lehmann for ur 1st round 4th pick, or somethin along those lines, but in effect u would still have ten players as u would have that extra draft pick....

That all looks fine. When is week 1 going to occur. The reason I ask is that I will be on holidays for the first 2 weeks of September and won't be able to access a computer until 16/9.

the way im looking at it at the moment is the season will end the 14th of September, so the 1st week of the off season would be the 21st of Sep...
