New Manager

Mister Wright

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Hey everone,

I'm new around here, I've just been given the honour of being Guyana's manager. As I don't really know the ins-and-outs of WCC, could someone please give me a run down? I've read the 'about WCC' on the website, but if someone could give me the actual detail on what happens each week that would be great!

Thanks guys,

Hope to play many of you soon.

Cheers.

Welcome mate...

Well its all pretty simple in the day to day running of the WCC..

All you are really responsible for is each week submitting your team by Midnight Thursday Aussie time...
To do this you just submit your 11 players in the appropriate thread on the forum also denoting who you have as keeper...

The games are usually run over the weekend and sent back to you by the monday.. From there you can write a match report which you post on the forum(not compulsory)...
Games are run in a order, So 1 week wll be 1d the next week will be 4d then 1d then 4d then the 5th week is usually a round of the VB Cup which is a KO competition of 25 overs per side...

You have just entered at a busy time with the end of season trading period about to kick off....
You can trade by contacting other managers, via email, MSN or Private Message when they are re-activated...
Trades can be made on any players in your 16 man squad but must be even so either 1 for 1, 2 for 2 etc...
The Rule on the trades will be ironed out completely in the next week or so...

You can find your squad details on the WCC Website found here ...

I think thats pretty much everything, if i have forgotten something im sure one of our realiable managers will help you out..
The main thing is have fun... Your team is not the strongest but with the trade season almost here you have the ideal chance to build your squad up to what you want...

Good Luck...
