Hi All,

New this forum. Would love to get some feedback from you about how I can stay side on at ball release.

I have tried so many things but nothing seems to work. It happens so much when I am facing a bowler running inn.

Your advice is highly appreciated.

Try to keep your feet pointed towards point or parallel to the crease line. And you really only want to stay side on if you are playing off the backfoot, so if the length feels short enough, just move your backfoot across slightly diagonally towards the offstump. Assuming you wanna play through the offside off the backfoot, which is when you wanna be fully side on as a batsman.

Practice in slow and practice a lot, then increase the action speed. It may take 8 weeks to develop a new and corrected bowling action. You didn't mention if you are a fast bowler. I have written a guide on how to bowl fast.
