Imran's batting + Miandad's batting > Sanga's batting (+ his keeping)

For average team, provided they have a good keeper it is Miandad + Imran. Murali + Sanga would be less valuable. Sanga as a pure bat averages 65, and Murali and Imran are par with the ball. That impact of a 65 averaging batsman is overshadowed by two batsmen averaging 50 and 35.

But let's assume the keeper is ****. Then it is Murali + Sanga. It is not easy to keep Murali and we saw the horror show from Boucher in the super test.

It's Imran/Miandad mainly because Murali is a complete mug with the bat. Sangakkara is definitely better than Miandad but Imran could bat hence their combo outplays Sanga.
