Medical committee to investigate shoaib's injury

You have to feel for Shoaib... All this should be done internally. I dont think theres ANY other team in the world who would do what Pakistan are doing atm out in the open like this. Inzamam should keep his mouth shut till any tests are completed. Talk about pre-judging a player, even one with a track record like Shoaibs.

It seems a quite extraordinary situation - Inzy a conspiracy theorist.

One or the other of them just might have played their last game for Pakistan if that 'article' is anything to go by. However, it appears to be long on conjecture and short on content at first glance. I must confess to not being too familiar with the source concerned. Is it reliable or just a pile of sensationalist tat?

Eddie, Sify.com is a subsidary of Satyam Computers,Hyderabad a leading IT firm in India and has branches around the world. Sify has a major stake in CricInfo.com around 33% i think. You can find more information about Satyam here www.satyam.com . So i think it is reliable or it has been reliable till now

Ah. That explains everything. :D

I'd heard of Satayam, but never made the connection.

There was an interesting article on that site about offshore outsourcing - and it leads me on to one thing which has always intrigued me. Where do Indian IT companies outsource to?

I haven't read any article as they were too big but the only instance i can recall of Indian companies outsourcing to other countries is Infosys outsourcing just a small part of its work to China. Don't know much about it . It's mainly firms from US,UK, Euro, etc,. outsourcing to India, China, Russia, etc, to cut costs b'coz of the diff in value of rupee compared to dollar,pound,etc,.. India gets the major share b'coz more than half of its people are aged below 25, speak English fluently and very good in IT. I don't have much knowledge of Indian companies doing it though

Wow, I had no idea that Inzamam was such a whiny beeyatch. What he means when he talks about a dressing room vendetta is anybody's guess, but mine is that it involves hot, soaking towels and Inzy's stingingly red, pudgy butt.

The fact that he was "supported by Javed Miandad" in this says it all really, given that he's as crackers as they come. The whole thing has sounded to me like a sarcastic or humorously-intended remark that Shoaib made to Latif - the WRONG person to make that kind of remark to, because he would go running to the authorities if somebody told him Ricky Ponting won a tenner at the trots.

The best part of the article for me was this passage:

The all important Rawalpindi Test saw the Shoaib skipping the proceedings on the third day, ostensibly after hurting his finger and pulling a side muscle.

"The Shoaib"???? Kinda reminds me of "The Chad", from that Charlie's Angels flick.
