  • KL Rahul has a slightly better overall Test batting record and has been more consistent in challenging overseas conditions, particularly in the subcontinent and Australia.
  • Aiden Markram has potential and has shown brilliance, especially in home conditions, but his consistency and adaptability to all formats are still a work in progress.
Based on these factors, KL Rahul can be considered a slightly more reliable Test batsman at this stage, but Markram is certainly a talented player with room to grow.
