Kenya to tour the Carribbean

Go Kenya!

If they can win a match in WI, that will prove to the ICC people that last year's world cup semi-final wasn't a coincidence (all right, they got four points from the Kenya match which they might not have got otherwise, but never mind) and give them the Test status they deserve. They could beat Bangladesh and Zimbabwe in a Test on any day.

Minor gripe...it's Caribbean. One 'r'.:)

Re: Kenya tour. It should be interesting. I still don't think that they would beat a Zimbabwe team in a Test though. Bangladesh, perhaps, but with recent showings it's not a given.

I wouldn't go that far until we actually saw them play.

I believe some of the Kenyans are beginning to reach an age where they won't be around too much longer.

Yes Marc, apparently there is a lot of internal dispuits around Nairobi and Kenyan cricket, and guys like Maurice Odumbe and Steve Tikolo definitely wont be around forever.... IMO Kenyan cricket will enter a bit of a recession for a few years...

That's right and at least the ICC resisted this time the pressure to grant test status. Still this will be good experience for some younger members of the side (Obuya?).
