Alderman boosted his numbers by taking weak England players wickets.
The big two Alderman series were '81 and '89 and I think in particular the earlier of those didn't have a weak batting line-up. Alderman was just really well suited to those conditions. Does he have enough outside those two series though? Probably not.

yeah,I get it but this is the same genius that has decided that Viv Richards is somehow not an ATG batsman so you can tell how valuable his opinion is.
