Thought Williamson would win against Inzamam fairly easily.

he won against Younis and Obliterated Amla and VVS.

Miandad’s even better than Williamson in Nz btw
Kane's averaging like 85 in NZ this decade and pretty sure he played more tests too so I won't say Javed is better in NZ, it's Kane's problems in Eng/Ind/SA/SL that Javed should have an advantage over.

I wonder how he’d do if got to play more in SA. Think he’s only played 2 innings there since he turned 23 and has done very well against them at home.

Love to see Kane lose his cool for once and threaten some Aussie with a bat. My favorite bit in that photo is big macho DK flinching and taking cover behind the umpire.

Well yeah in the ranking thread earlier this year it was Miandad at 24, Younis at 25 and Williamson at 27. This is Kane’s first test since that poll. I’d expect them to end up relatively close in polls.

Isn’t struggling against weak teams worse than feasting on them?

Bro couldn’t even average 30 against a team in its first year of test cricket and you think he’s better than Big Daddy?!

I would think not when it's a small sample size , he only played 3 tests vs Zimbabwe .

Williamson's record is very poor in Aus-SA-Ind-Eng, the four major test nations.

A great player should do better in top countries than that.

Kane away from home is a big hole yeah, even his Aus record is entirely build upon cashing in on massive runfests ack in 2015-16 series, a series 5 batsmen averaging 70+.

I wouldn't dis count those runs entirely. IIRC one of those tons was a really high quality one where the aussie pacers ran through the rest of the NZ lineup.

Typical horseshit analysis going on here. KW scoring massive runs in crucial, match and series-winning innings against ‘lesser teams’ which don’t count cos reasons

According to CW, KW scoring hypothetical runs while we get flogged means everything while actual match winning runs he scored in real life mean nothing
