Here's another interesting Cricket Trivia game. Its in a different format. Its in jeopardy type of format. The first person posts the answer ie a name or number and the next poster must then post a question to which the previous post would be an answer to.
Here's an example -
Poster 1 - Don Bradman
Poster 2 - Who has the highest Batting average for any cricketer to have played over 20 Test Innings ? or
Who has the record for Most centuries in consecutive Test Matches? or
Who scored the fastest double Century in Test cricket history ?
etc.
Then anyone can post next . There's no need to wait for previous poster to come back and post again. But only one question (or in this case one answer) can be alive at any time .
For instance after the above - Poster 3 posts - "26"
Poster 4 - What is the lowest Team score in Test Cricket ?
I hope everyone will participate in this game.
Other rule-
You cannot ask futuristic or potential type or future prediction type questions, Only based on current records !!
Not even questions on opinions or vaguaries. Just simple easy trivia please !
We want greater participation.
Example of an unacceptable futuristic prediction type question-
Who will win the World Cup in 2007 ? etc..
Also its upto you who participate in this game to make it sensible and not nonsensical !
Eg- Answer - Kapil Dev
an example of nonsensical type question would be -
Which former international cricketers name begins in "K" and ends in "apil Dev"?
It doesn't take much to make a sensible question like- Who Captained India to win a World Cup? or who was India's leading wicket taker in Tests until recently overtaken by Kumble ?
It is important the answer and question are Trivia , and not easy common knowledge information.ie it should be Trivia and not be too silly.
Eg . Answer - Virender Sehwag
Question - Who is India's opener in Tests ? this is not trivia .
But rather the appropriate question would be -
Who has made the highest score in Test Cricket for India ? V.Sehwag 309 .
So the rules are simple please try and make it enjoyable and add to everyone's knowledge without making it silly.
And I hope everyone will participate.
