The show used to air sometimes on TV for us, back when we had only 3 channels over-the-air

Growing up, it was fun to watch Ricardo Powell and co. attempt to hit the ball a mile in that contest.

It’s nostalgia for me…wish we had more programs like this.

Anyone else relate to this show?

In the middle of 2005, we moved our place to one that was more remote…and had to construct a crude tv antenna to pick up the 3 channels that were available at the time…

It was so random seeing a ‘different’ program about cricket that didn’t involve our local cricket hosts.

The Ashes of that year opened this up to our local populace. It was the first series between two teams not named West Indies to show on local tv— a big deal.

It got a lot of youngsters picking up the sport…
