He only Averaged 15 across the 6 innings only managed to score around 80 runs.

And his actual average according to the bowling conditions turns out to be around 47.45.


earlier only McGrath , md Asif used to Ball so often in the area of uncertainty but nowadays almost all bowlers are bowling good length balls all the times.

Ajinkya rahane, Kohli, Smith, Latham , Williamson , elger all of them used to be too good while playing proper defensive test cricket.

Players like Rahul Dravid and Pujara used to get out early while playing defensive cricket probably due to the new balls


So What happened to all of these batsman all of sudden since 2020 ? T20 Was Always There Since 2007 ,

This decrease in batting average due to T20 effect Or are they more aggressive because they realise they can't survive in more difficult conditions so have to attack more?

You actually have to be an athlete to compete meaningfully at the top level of any sport these days, and Tendulkar, talented as he was, spent most of his career looking like he survived on a diet of pakoras and ice cream.

But rohit sharma example is not valid.
