Mister Wright

The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) is pleased to announce the signing of a new manager Kyle Wright for season four. With Guyana struggling in division five it was decided by the GCB that they would replace the existing manager with Wright giving him the opportunity to review and mould his squad for next season. Mr. Wright said that it was a great opportunity for him to gain experience in the management role after previous successful coaching stints at Grade level in Queensland.
"After consulting with my family it was decided that this was an opportunity I could not pass up." Wright said upon arriving in Georgetown.
"I know the team has been struggling in recent seasons, but with names like Sarwan, Lawson and Hitchcock there is plenty of potential there."
When asked on whether there would be sweeping changes made to the Guyana squad Wright said, "Nobody is guaranteed a place in the squad for next season, there are a few people we are looking at, at other clubs, I will know more when I meet with the coach and the selectors before we decide on the squad for next season.
"All I can say is that I am looking forward to next season and our ultimate goal for next season is to blood some youngsters and build a successful team with an idea for promotion in one or two seasons."
