I need to buy a new cricket bat I am looking for a 5 star cricket bat and from what I understand the bats mentioned in the title are both star short handle cricket bats. Can anyone tell me which is better or if there are any other better bats that I could possible purchase. I am from South Africa and I am going to order from overseas so my budget is around 200-250 dollars.

Have you tried either out, just with the downswing and the balance in your hands?

I walked into Kingsgrove with my heart set on a Puma but the guy somehow picked up my physique and offered me a Kookaburra to have a swing with. It was like batting with the Force. Bought it on the spot.

I am actually going to order online unfortunately circumstances does not allow me to actually go and feel the bats for myself. Which kookaburra did you get?
