Transport Barnes and McGrath to the modern era, I know exactly what happens. McGrath has better numbers than Bumrah, Australia have won the past few Ashes in England as well as Australia. They suffocate India’s batting in India. India forced to create even ranker turnerers. Barnes never plays a test for England. He exclusively plays in T20 leagues. Consistently topping average, SR, economy and total wickets list. Highest paid player. Viewed as “enigmatic”. Plays T20I and ODI world cups. There is no way to know what will actually happen
What the ****Barnes could have been a chucker for all we know.
MacLaren would’ve certainly chucked him off a ship. What the ****
Calm down bro that post was clearly meant to get a rise out of you lol. What the ****
well you were successful.Calm down bro that post was clearly meant to get a rise out of you lol.
tbh he'd have done it if he could anywayMacLaren would’ve certainly chucked him off a ship.
Probably true. But what if both played say in earlier pre T20s era? Who is the world’s best bowler? Barnes or McGrath? I would bet on Barnes. Even if both of these guys finish with similar stats which is probably most likely, I would bet Barnes would have lot higher peer rating which I think would give him the edge.Transport Barnes and McGrath to the modern era, I know exactly what happens. Barnes' averages adjusted to the global batting average is more or less similar to McGrath's. And McGrath didn't feast on minnows, and even if he did, there was no one as meh as South African teams that Barnes bowled to.Probably true. But what if both played say in earlier pre T20s era? You mean the South African teams that beat England in two serieses and were competitive in Australia? the same side that would've won the last two tests of Barnes's South Africa tour had Barnes not been there?Barnes' averages adjusted to the global batting average is more or less similar to McGrath's.
