Since I don’t think SA records from that period really counted (nor do historians from that period, though tbf SA’s bowling is similar overall to Australias, but there batting is half as weak as the other two) these are the stats from the 1800’s for pacers in Aus vs Eng matches. (min 50 wickets)

All four played just a couple of years before their first test. All of them bar Richardson retired straight away or played another season of FC. Richardson played 5+
