GB, some clarification please

There should be some consistency between the info on the 4 day team pages and OD team pages. I notice that some bowlers are fast medium at FC yet medium at OD. Some players do not bowl in FC yet bowl in OD. And if a player can keep in OD surely he can keep in FC also. Victoria's info is the most inconsistent example.

Well not all the blame can be aimed at GB he didn't collect any of the sides and it's not like a few erros like if a bowler is medium fast or medium is going to make much difference.

If your willing to help us out and re-collect/correct the 24 teams 16 squad members information then feel free.....

My comment was supposed to be constructive, not intended to rub you up the wrong way. I was asked to point things out and that's what I did. I realise that team managers researched much of the information.

Ok sorry just re-read my post and it has been worded, not as i intened, i didn't mean to sound ungreatful. What I was trying to say was that GB let managers collect their own teams so mistake were always going to be made, and GB just passed the info onto me with the needed info for me to paste stright onto the site....

However my last comment still stands if you wish to collect the correct info or just point myself/Gb in the direction of where the mistakes are we would be most greatful

In theory it is possible for someone to be up to keeping in OD's, but not in FC (Dravid, Trescothick, Vincent(?) )

Likewise, a bowler may have different styles for the 2 types of game.

That's true Marc, but I thought it might be best to keep things simple with the one set of info for each player. It's not a major problem.

I dont think in the end it matters Cause VC4 uses the stats on its own so med fast or med doesnt matter i think ..

B.Nash is a WK, it is a error, and if i remember and get the time i will fix that up...

So I take it that fast/medium would be classified as fast whereas medium/fast would be classified as medium?

IMO I would say they are still both medium, I would only class players such as Lee/Aktar/bond etc as fast bowlers

Perhaps GB could clarify this for us. I think it's quite important to know because we need to tailor our pitch conditions to suit our bowling attacks.
I assume that for a pace attack that is mainly medium movement is more important than pace whereas for a pace attack that is mainly fast pace would be more important than movement?

i Dont think it uses pitch conditions to a great deal , at times a team could be visiting your ground whose ground stats are pace 10 etc that suits pace bowlers and a team with only spinners on the bowling lineup can sometimes win .... that is the funny side

And i dont know what , but when sometimes a good bowler is bowling real good say 4 1 8 2(wickets) he is taken off and a crap bowler is put in even though that bowler has 6 overs left , happens most times
