http://www.cricketweb.net/fantasycricket/ is a website that allows sports clubs to set up their own in-club fantasy leagues. It's all for free and is a great tool for building club spirit and for fund raising.
Fantastar Cricket has just been launched so you can now bring fantasy league to your own cricket club or local league! To celebrate, Fantastar is hosting a free fantasy league competition for the Ashes Test series. Here are the details:
How to register
1. Go to http://www.cricketweb.net/fantasycricket/
2. Register as a manager.
3. Follow the link to join a league using the Ashes league password ashes
4. Select your team (if you're short on time there's a lucky dip feature).
Selection rules
1 x Wicketkeeper, 5 x Batsmen, 1 x All Rounder, 4 x Bowlers
Max 6 players from a single team.
Unlimited transfers until the day before the Ashes start.
10 transfers allowed throughout the course of the series (transfers can be made during a Test).
The points scoring measures are shown on the 'Select Team' page.
