Fair-Unfair? I Plead To Board and Members of WCC

Well this is a major problem that occured to Hampshire Cricket Board.
I Finally got my WCC Records Viewer working and was looking through the
updated averages when i clicked on Hampshire and read through the list and
saw Y Snow 15 avg FC 51 avg OD??!! i was thinking, since im after OD bats
why would i have kicked out Y Snow (Wicket Keeper - retiree replacement )
seeing his average for OD is quite high. I was thinking what? whats going on?
Maybe blewy or sriram got it wrong while making the list.
So i though to recheck i went to the ORIGINAL saved list of Retiree Replacement
that G.B had released a while ago, and it read Y Snow od avg - 15 fc avg - 15
I read it again maybe 3 more times as i thought my eyes were playing tricks
on me. But no, i was right when the file had been originally released 15 had
been put in instead of 51. And at that time i thought man thats 2 pathetic
people i got..And no one told me that actually Y Snow avg 51 in OD so i got
a decent pick. And anyway no one had to, cause why bother when the file says
it all.
And since we just received the Records Viewer and it works for me now
i see the difference.

All im saying is i realize its a mistake..but honestly its not mine. And if i
knew he avg'd that i would have kept him im the last one to act stupid at
making crucial decisions. Well i just hope the board can figure a way out...
a compensation of equal ranks because im on the suffering end. I think
Y Snow has already been chosen to by Free State in Drafts to make matters worse.
But please help me out. I dont want it to be unfair. My main goals for drafts
were 1/Good OD batsmen 2/Strong OD Keeper/batsmen which Snow would have given
me..!

The file has not been modified aswell as i clicked properties and checked to
see if it was tampered by anyone other than me on the computer. And im the
last person to try and be dishonest in the WCC as i carry a strong reputation
of being a good manager right from the very beginning..

Please guys think about this seriously.. i would have strongly campaigned for you if it happend to you by mistake..
I know you might get a bit ****ed of Neil.. but i would have been there for you at a time like this

I'll put a vote in the unfair column!
as much as changes should be avoided it's tough on managers when they happen... If it was minor yeah alright no problem... but a major problem like this should be looked at solving. Free State were early up in the list so it'd be unfair on them to change... I think to only thing to do would be to create another player with the same stats and give him back to Hamps

Actually, who's to say that it's not a typo in the records viewer, which results in me being the one who is well and truly screwed.

This needs thorough investigation!

from what i make of this.

Lord dropped a crap player into the draft - fair enough

Neil picked up a good OD keeper fromthe draft - also fair enough


now these 2 may have been the same player however i dont think it can be changed, if you had picked it up before the drarft had been run that would be different, but as the player has been picked by Neil he cannot really be taken off him.


i think Neil should keep Y Snow, as has picked him from the draft, as for Lord, maybe some 'special training' could be given to one of his keepers for a little boost in OD batting skill. you retained John Crawley, maybe his OD average could be boosted a little to compensate??
