That’s me done lads, nothing is happening and we’ve got two fit seamers. I’m sure it must be demoralising for the lads but the level of effort shown this morning is unacceptable. They’ve never looked like taking a wicket, Yorkshire will never have an easier job of saving a game and I’m sure it’ll be better for everyone if the rain turns up early.

Three games without a win to start the season, three games also where we’ve failed to take 20 wickets. We’ve got big problems. BIG problems.

See you all later in the week.

No chance we are taking another 5 wickets here. Massive game next week at Worcester, is it too early to class it as a relegation 6-pointer?

We have a problem bowling sides out twice.

Injuries will be blamed but it's more than that.

We are struggling to stay in this division after only 3 games.

So much for weather being against them. Probably saved them in the end. On paper the attack still looks decent but as we know it's played on grass. Bowlers need to step up if they're to still have an OK season. Won't be challenging the top table though.

I wonder what our bowling attack will be for the next game.

Minto may be able to play. We have Killeen and McAlindon in reserve if need be.

Doggett has a sore toe so not sure how long that will take to recover. Potts may be asked by the ECB to rest. If we play a spinner will it be Drissell or Parkinson?

Parky trying to reinvent himself as an opening bat again then

We should try and lure Liam Patterson-White back home. Now he's second fiddle to Farhan Ahmed.

Took our two first choice spinners to the cleaners with the bat. No doubt he may well fare better than them with the ball.

Parky may be trying to follow Rehan Ahmed.

He certainly had a shocker with the ball but then Drissell didn't do much better. 231/1 between them.
