He was an Anglo-Pakistani. I think there was a guy called Atkinson who played for Pakistan post-partition as well.

Duncan Sharpe immigrated to Australia after being overlooked for selection in Pakistan in the '60s and played Sheffield Shield cricket for South Australia. Don Bradman found him a job as assistant groundsman at Adelaide Oval. He later became foreman of Parks and Gardens in Melbourne.
