Had a look at the playtest in melbourne (on youtube)..
Seemed like a load of bugs need ironing out.. I know budgets are small but cricket games are laughable at the moment

you guys are so dumb when it comes to video games. "2 player mode"? is this 1988 or somethingNot sure how I feel about Bradman being in a video game. Would just be massively unfair advantage if you played 2-player mode and someone got to have Bradman in their team.
Oh that's okay, I guess I can just select Tendulkar and it'll be even.

Cricket games have been poor in the past. I remember buying Ashes 09 for the Wii.
Completely awful. (my fault for owning a Wii, I know)

ashes cricket 13 comes out on friday btw. with the release date being announced today. after being previously set for june, july, september, they've made november at least. and it looks like horse****

Like I say, the Codemasters Ashes 2009 game was beyond terrible.
I don't think a single programmer on that project had ever watched a cricket match.

this will be worse than that. like they scrapped everything and started again but it looks shocking
they don't even have a proper lighting system by the looks of things. and the controls look so simplistic too, batting's just defense/attack/loft, no back foot/front foot controls. ugh
