Oh. I am crushed. So close, yet so far. :( :(

Although I'm very impressed by R. Morris' 5 for, including what looks like a hat-trick! Well done to Hakon and his boys.

yeh when i simmed that game and saw ur bowling effort i thought it was all over, but it seems like your batsmen just wilted under the pressure...
interestingly 5 of the 8 sides left are from either division 5 or 6 in 1d...

Geez, thought this week might have been an end to our cup run, but we live to fight another day! Good work boys!

oh well.. jsut goes to show what a gimmick this cup is.

It's funny how in the testing last ngiht I won almost every 50 over game yet it was like 14-11 in 60 over games. Just goes to show how random the sim is with the cup. And all I can say is it's quite a pointless competition if the sim continues to produce absolutely random results, not jsut this, but also when teams lose one wicket yet make like 180 runs.

Oh well

WOW!!! definatelly wasnt expecting a win. what makes it better was my bowlers containing them to 180 odd off 60 overs!

A bit disappointed with the loss but it good to see Hawkins continue his form, great 5-fer to keep us in the game. Also nice to see Singh and Khan get some runs, a lot of postives to come out of the game in the lead up to the last half of the OD season. I don't think my hair can take much more of these close OD games, it about the fifth game this season that has gone down to the last few wickets or overs. We have only won two of these games, but the boys are learning from these close games and i'm confident that in the future we will get over the line. Well done boys you lost to a very good OD side.

WOW! Almost all the division five sides except Guyana are still alive.

HaHa! At Cloete - Just live with it mate, we all have to when we lose when we don't expect.

Well done Simon! You certainly have given ND a new lease of life.

Not good signs for Guyana with our next OD opponent Tasmania crushing the oppenent we were last beaten by.

very happy with to stumble over the line with a win over Victoria. On a tough strip to bat on the Vic's looked well and truley on top, but to our bowlers credit they stuck to their game plan in choking the Vic's for 60 overs and not letting them get a massive score.

The batting was shakey and was primarily held together by Jimmy Schofield's 64. It was a tense finish in the end with the final wicket putting on an unbeaten 28 to get us over the line and into the quarter finals against a weak ND.

Obviously pleased with win against Auckland, especially with the batsmen doing well, but it'll be a tough match against Queensland.
