Cricketweb Cult Heroes

Craig

World Traveller
Use this thread to list any cricket cult hero's on this site (and in cricket in general) ie Ajit Agarkar, Rikki Clarke. They do not have to be great cricketers, could be complete and utter nonsense but those you can't help but like or have a huge fan base. Take your pick.

For me it is AA and Rikki.

I used to be a huge AA fan, but Rikki has won my heart.

'Clarkewatch' WILL be a word on everyone's lips in years to come.

<quack> The word on your lips is usually 'Cunnilin..... (muffled quacking fades into distance)

Whatever it takes!!!
Stuart MacGill. There was something about his "It is not as if they know what I am bowling, but it is as if they don't care what I am bowling" remark.

It's not very often I've read that name here, so have you been posting on the SportNetwork forums?
No - not any more.

I got banned from ICF for questioning one of Abe/Anil's articles. I pointed out its complete lack of balance and the instances of borderline defamation.

He removed the message and banned me.

The phrase is also used at The Silver Fern to describe the players New Zealanders love to hate.

One can freely call that place a snake pit. A little bias makes an article more entertaining, but the forum posts and front-page articles have excessive bias, either towards players, or against players, or against other teams.

The first time I had heard of the phrase "Kyle Mills, President of Goatland" was on ICF, and became Donsteppa's (does he post here?) signature.
