Colin Miller announced his retirement

Rich2001

International Captain
Colin Miller announced his retirement from first-class cricket, following a career that lasted 17 years.

Miller now 38, played 18 Tests for Australia, taking 69 wickets at 26.15, including a ten-wicket haul against the West Indies at the Adelaide Oval in 2000-01. He also claimed 446 first-class wickets at 30.97 for Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania in 126 matches.

Ah, more like DIRECTLY responsible. It's nothing new that Hookesy likes the idea of a younger Victorian squad and would want to give guys like White a decent go this season. To me, Miller's biggest mistake was leaving Tassie.

Wouldn't it be funny if, like Gavin Robertson, Colin Miller didn't play for his state but made himself available for Test selection!

International Debutant
It's a shame that Funky retired as he was one of my favourtie players. It was always interesting to see what colour his hair was going to be at the start of each season!
