Is his time in the spotlight up? i hope not,he's a great cricketer, and a great bloke... apparently he's going 2 b dropped from the WA pura cup side...

the aus selectors have stuck wif him in the squad, and as 12th man...perhaps taking over andy bichels spot as the permanent 12th man...but do u think he'll get another game?

No, the duck dislikes him.
Apparently.
But to suggest that just because you don't like Warne Hogg is any good is very insane.

I just can't see Hogg making it back into the aussie side, especially with Warne coming back in less than a month :D.

His batting may aid him slightly but still the future looks bleak for him especially if he is dropped from the WA side. 12th man is the best he can hope for. Maybe he will grow to like carrying the drinks

he had an EXCELLENT world cup...i think even warne woould've been happy with the figures he got in the world cup...probably one of the best spinners that played in the cup...i agree, his test form wasn't good, didn't look like he was ever gonna take a wicket...but ODI's.. he bowled decently in india ,except for one match...after which he hasn't played a game... EVEn warne has bad games sometimes...so one bad game...dropped..is that really fair?

hogg seemes to have more variety than warne, and hence batsman will b more careful to go after him...in the world cup,the only batsman that managed to whack him was sehwag in the final...and he whacked every1 in the final

his batting is pretty good, but he has yet to show it in the international arena..his fielding is brilliant...he took wat is considered one of the catches of the century a few years bak (duz ne1 have any pics or videos of that?) and is a team player..

Australia haven't played a front line spinner in their attack for a while...perhaps that's the reason?maybe when they need one, they'll play hogG?hopefuLY

True True but who will b australias spinner warne hogg or mcgill??? they need warne in 1st slip and take hayden and put him in the out field. but as u said hogg has som variation so it would b hard 2 tell what hes bowling and he spins it a long way and mcgill what can i say hes ausome... What do u think???

Theres no way in the world Hogg will play another test match if thats what some of you are suggesting. He may, however, play another one day match, as Warne has retired (although apparently has considered coming out of retirement).

Damien Martyn you are very hard to understand. Try butting my punctuation (especially commas) in and reframe from using words like "2", "b", and "som". Im not trying to be picky it just makes you easier to understand.

But basically I think you are asking who Australia's spinner will be. The simple answer is:

Tests: Warne with MacGill as backup. Hogg will eb a long way down the list.

ODIs: In Australia theres a good chance that none will be used, but elsewhere it will be Hogg with Hauritz and White in the background. Warne has retired from ODIs and MacGill isnt a one day player. All this will change however, if Warne comes out of retirement.

Well if thats the simple answer, Ide hate to see myself post the comlpicated done.
