For me Botham was just that much more of a demonstrated matchwinner with the bat than Hadlee, so edges it as an all-rounder. But it's close.

If Botham's career wasn't that of a few different kinds of cricketer I may lean towards him.

I don't really think Hadlee was an AR. But he was a much, much better player. If you want to call him an AR, he wins easily.
