Kevin Pietersen's 186 in Mumbai in 2012 for me.

186 in a innings score of 413.. so 45% of the runs.

England ended up winning the game to level the series at 1-1.

England then won at Eden Gardens in the 3rd test, drew the 4th... to inflict India's only home series defeat in donkey's years.

Not really it was 99/5 when Gilchrist came in, India scored 176 so Australia was trailing by just 77 Runs. Australia had McGrath, Fleming, Gillespie and Warne to bowl in the second innings. Gilchrist just need to ensure to come close to the Indian Total not really a crunch moment, Indian attack was also weak with only Harbhajan and Srinath being effective.

Saeed Anwar's 188 was better as other Team mates failed and Indian bowling had Kumble, Harbhajan and Superform Srinath

Anwar’s knock was also ATG knock.

I think that Gilly innings is being shortchanged. Harbi was pretty much in the same ATG form he would have in the rest of the series but Gilly clobbered him against the run of play.

But would rate Anwar innings higher. Second innings plus nobody else scored.
