Battle of the Test Innings

The track Gooch played on, looks like absolute road, however, they did win on it, so its a hard decision. Slater's looks like a good knock, and I guess since we're battling innings against innings then.

Slater's knock for me.

Gooch for me.

Wasn't Slats run out early in his knock and controversially (i.e. wrongly) reprieved? Or was that another one of his several dozen tons against us?! 8-) :p

definately Waugh, it was the 1st international cricket match i ever went to & even though i was little i remember both these innings fairly well as it will go down in ashes history as the inning's that turned the ashes back in Australia's favour after a slow start.

Waugh.

Even though i voted for Waugh but the Richard's innings deserves a mention it was on an uneven track against Imraan who was in great bowling form. A pity that this knock was up against a Waugh masterclass.

Says Sachin got 169, not 136...

Anyway, it's Sir Donald Bradman for me, clearly. Not too shabby an England attack.

don all the way.

very unfair comparison. its like comparing laker's 10 for 53 with a good 5 wicket haul in a losing cause.
