I think on paper Steyn etc are better but in practice McGrath etc. were better.

How many times did they all play together? Southee Boult Wagner is 3 ATVG players rather than ATGs but it felt like a very strong attack because it actually worked together over a lot of Tests

Yeah. I think folks are doing average reading again to go with Steyn etc but that attack was neutralised far more in my memory than McGrath co were.

Whereas I recall Steyn co spanked at home in 2013 by Aus and and a few times besides that.
