From an aesthetic standpoint which are the better bowling actions?

Holding or Donald?

Lillee or Imran?

Wasim or Ambrose?

Waqar or Marshall?

Warne or Bedi?

Bumrah or Malinga?

Bond or Shoaib?

Steyn or Anderson?

Lol I disagree so much here bro.

Imran to me had that epic leap which made his action just more aesthetic though Lillee was more textbook.

Ambrose was just excitement as he pounded in.

Waqar again that long run up and bustle was pure excitement.

I just find Bumrahs action ugly.

Anderson is much smoother and effortless than Steyn for some reason.

The rest I agree.

Holding or Donald? Holding, with Donald nipping at his heels. But Donald's action was more honed as opposed to the predator in its natural habitat that Holding was.

Lillee or Imran? Lillee. The first "modern" action in my view.

Wasim or Ambrose? Ambrose. Wasim was too unpredictable and even ungainly, but that it didn't make him any less effective is testament to the freak he was.

Waqar or Marshall? Youngish Waqar, between '90 and '94. However, I will say Marshall, and Wasim, are the only two bowlers whose actions seemed like they could do absolutely anything they wished with the ball.

Warne or Bedi? Warne. Bedi was smooth alright but I feel like it's hard for a SLA to be outright hideous unless they're Paul Adams or Sanath Jayasuriya or something, therefore less "art" involved in the action itself.

Bumrah or Malinga? Bumrah. I don't think his action is ugly at all once you get over the initial shock. He's ironed it into a fine groove and it has a strange dissonant logic of its own.

Bond or Shoaib? Young Shoaib before the celltech and machines in the weight room took over.

Steyn or Anderson? Steyn. Flowed like water through the crease.
