I'm trying to think of a good Glenn Chapple joke, but I've got nothing.

Warney just texted me and told me to put in a vote for him.

He also asked me for a shag, so I think he also got the wrong number somehow.

voting for warne.

gilly and lillee should've been there in the semis. they are at least marginally superior to s.waugh and g.chappell.

i am already worried about the final.

Voting for Warne too...

Yes, S. Waugh and G. Chappell though two all-time greats, shouldn't have been there according to me...Yes, Gilly must have been there...Though I feel it's McGrath, and not Lillee, who should've been the other one...

among australian spinners warne, oreilly and grimmett are very closely clustered. some rank oreilly ahead and some say warne was the best. but it is always marginal.

of the all rounders armstrong, noble and gregory were giants. but miller is clearly a notch above them.

i am going to choose miller. because only by having him as the all-rounder in my aussie XI i can afford to choose two spinners, and thus assuring warne his place in the team. i know i can go for the 4 batsmen - 3 pacers -1 spinner combo. but i prefer the full fledged attack of miller, lillee, mcgrath, warne and oreilly.i dont think any batting line-up would be comfortable facing it

You forgot, many also say Grimmet.

O'Reilly was one of them and I am another :)

In fact O'Reilly considered him the greatest bowler of all times.

Miller for me. Think he'd bring more to the party as a cricketer than Warne would. Warne was no dunce with the bat, but with Miller one could quite easily play another bowler or batsman depending on situation/taste.

Worthy final. :)
