We're supposed to be impartial too, but you wouldn't know it if you've read anything that I've written about Zimbabwe of late :baddevil:

Anyway, defending Cricinfo (:O) - that's perfectly accurate!

So what's the squad? Who's Dav Whatmore brought in?

Squad Khaled Mahmud (capt), Javed Omar, Khaled Mashud, Habibul Bashar, Mohammad Rafique, Hannan Sarker, Mohammad Ashraful, Al-Sahariar, Manjural Islam, Alok Kapali, Sanwar Hossain, Tareq Aziz, Tapash Baisya, Anwar Hossain Monir, Mashrafe Mortaza.

Tushar Imran and Habibul Hossain are to join the team later for the one-day matches.

After all the flak that various idiots at the BCB threw at Khaled Mahmud too

The current Zimbabwe side should be a better match-up against Bangladesh. They are trying to emulate Bangladesh anyway, 9 test defeats in a row......

Nah they should never be that bad! I think they will be more competitive in the one dayers...

So, no new faces then.

And Mohammad Selim gets dropped after one series for Khaled Mashud (who was the one getting the stick from the BCB - not Mahmud!) to return. Good call there, Dav.

Anyway, anyone fancy a bet on Bangladesh to not lose any tour games?

Yeah, you're right there. My mistake. The wicket-keeper and former captain.

First I ask what's the weather like in Australia around this time?
Well, being that this is to be played in Darwin, its really dry and hot up there right now. They have their cricket season when everyone else is having their football season and vice versa. As Ive said, the pitches will be baked hard by the dry weather.

Ok in that case, since Australia have no chance of escaping with a rained out draw, I put all my money Bangladesh to win every tour match. Anyone to bet against me?:)

Good luck

In two words for Bangladesh:

Good Luck

But half of Bangladesh's problems is that walk in expecting to lose, a poor first class competition and a combination of inexperience.

going a tad off topic here, but can someone tell me if Channel 9 are showing the series here in Aus.
ive heard varying reports on this.
But my undertsanding is that channel 9 have an obligation to show every international that is in Australia.
