ball cursor

hi guys i'm pretty new to cricket and therfore to cricket games in general but i think its quite strange the way most of developers have conceived the batting section. my big problem is how to accept the idea of a "ball cursor" that when i'm at bat tells me exactly ( or approximately but yet too in the detail for me) where the ball is gonna bounce. i mean i have played baseball sims for the last 6 yrs and the real skill in those games is to understand the flight and the heading of the ball, like in the real stuff and dont think the cricket batting skills are anything different.
Do you know if is there a cricket game where at an advanced level you dont see the cursor or of the cursor is a "generic" info?
Thanks a lot,

Yeh cricket 97 ashes tour edition on hard mode. No batting cursor

in most hard mode has no cursor, but its impossible to play, because in baseball they have to ball around the plate, but in cricket they can bounce anywhere and bowl full tosses so its pretty without the cursor.

Nope i am 100 per cent incorrect. I thought that was what it was but after playing the game again i must retract that statement
