Australian test selection 2019-2020

Time for this I guess. This could be moved into CC after the Ashes maybe.

Don't think I can remember a time when so many spots were questionable/up for grabs/no idea who the selectors will pick.

What I'd like to see (assuming Khawaja is fit):

Warner
Smith
Patterson
Pukovski
Wade
Paine +
Pattinson
Starc
Cummins
Lyon


What I think the selectors will do:

Bancroft
Warner
Khawaja
Smith
Head/Labuschagne
M.Marsh
Paine
Starc
Cummins
Hazelwood
Lyon


I get that Pukovski probably shouldn't be thrown into the team here, but I rate the kid that highly.

Personally I absolutely loathe this line of thinking. All this "next big thing" hype is doing nothing but putting undue pressure on his shoulders. Never been a fan of picking batsman with very little FC experience, would much rather rely on tried and tested options in the Ashes, throwing Pucovski in the deep end is really a risk not worth taking.

M8, pay close attention here for a moment. That was not a sarcastic comment. I thought the fact that I "liked" your post before hand would have made that obvious. I was a big fan of your attitude at first and having a go at the poms was hilarious, but now you're just coming across as being a bit unstable and having a victim complex.
