My all-time favorite Aussie batsman...it's really horrific news! Wish him and his family all the very best!

In case people hadn't heard elsewhere, he's been suffering from Parkinsons since 2016. Best wishes to him and his family, of course.
Sorry to hear about Allan Border, no medicine for that as far as i know

I always remembered Border for his match DBL of 150 & 153* vs Pak in Pak he bats at #6 in both innings.i bet still after 40 year no one scored 150 in both innings in test with Aggregates of 303 runs by #6 in single test.

( R. E. Foster scored 287 in his debut test for eng but he not bats at 6, who was known as Tip Foster in eng)

Border played many many great innings for Australia

Totally gutted to read that my hero AB is afflicted with Parkinson’s.

Ever since his masterly 163* at the MCG, which I followed on radio, not a week has gone by without me resorting to the “What would AB do?” trick at least once when I am confronted with an uncomfortable situation.

It has taken me many years - decades - to reach a safe position in the competitive profession I’ve chosen. Trust me! My love for Border is one of the prime reasons for my survival in this field and my progress without compromising on professional and personal integrity. i cant explain in words what he has taught me through example and how much i owe him.

Question: What would Allan Border do if he had Parkinson’s?
Answer: He will fight it with courage and grace with every ounce of energy he can muster.

Best of luck AB!
