Dear all,

After seeing the recent surge in interest in ALFTA, we are keen to resurrect the Tournament in a slightly different guise.

The exact structure of the Tournament is yet to be decided as we want as many people as possible to be able to enter.

Our aim is to have Timeless Tests with 16 man squads, to be picked from all players in Test history (subject to a minimum game restriction)

The contrast to our previous games is that you will have more control over team tactics thanks to our new simming approach.

We will be looking for a bit of assistance on the organising side of things, so anyone who is prepared to help feel free to offer in this thread and we will ask people for help as we require.

Use this thread to indicate your interest in managing a side, and we'll give further information as and when we decide whether it will be viable.

Yes, the hope is that we can provide a product more solid and interesting than the last time around, as clearly there was not enough to inspire managerial commitment, barring the odd person, last season.

Although, in my defence, last time I took over from someone else, so I didn't actually pick the team, which reduced my interest somewhat. But yeah, either way.
