Alan Wilkins

Arjun

Cricketer Of The Year
I had posted this on CricInfo's ECF, but got just 1 reply.

For all those living in England and Wales, do you know who Alan Wilkins is? He was some lef-arm medium-pacer who played for England and Wales/Glamorgan in the past.

Right now, he's a presenter on the local sports channel. I see him on most events- Cricket, Tennis, F1, Rugby. When the Indians came to England/NZ, you must have heard him in the Sky box. Not too sure about SKY Digital.

Indian fans are familiar with this anchor.

Alan Wilkins from what i know yes is a left arm medium played for Glamorgan, Gloucestershire & Northern Transvaal.

He didnt play for england i think so... avged 30 in fc with 243 and 22.91 with 130 Wickets

Hes retired ofcourse now and does professional commentating for various sports ..After retiring he moved on to start a career in broadcasting .. to still make money and do carry on something after cricket.. and now he has become quite popular and a familiar face..

He came here on his own free will.

If you want a laugh, let Arjun post some of his stuff on the ECF and you will be laughing.

There was a lot of activity out here, so I came.

A lot more than on those dull CricInfo forums, which rarely get updated. My first day comments are posted on the first day, where I'm not happy with England giving away 300-odd, but the next 2 days, they get as many as 500, when my post appears. Annoying.

It's good to see all my old rivals and allies here.

Is there anyone else left at Cricinfo we can scavenge? :)

Chris comes with my personal recommendation, and I'm sure Craig's too.
Me and david did invite him, he hasn't taken us up yet.

Of course, he would fit in. I am surprised Mr Paul Gilham didnt sign up. He still would be taking pot shots at Richard and he is a huige Somerset fan so he would fit in with some people who live in Somerset.
