Despite Davidson having a better average (20.53 v 23.62) and a superior WPM (4.23 v 3.98) CW members rate him well below Wasim Akram in the 2022 Bowlers poll (19th v 11th and 8th v 16th with spinners removed). I understand the majority going for Akram but I believe their skill levels and effectiveness are much closer.

Davo doesn’t have the longevity to compete with Akram. Definitely the 2nd best left arm quick ever easily.
