So why are some managers so slow getting their acts together and how come no teams have been posted for the first round?

I've received no communication from Blewy to suggest that the start has been delayed.

its a sad fact that none of them really care. their hearts are not in it and their minds are firmly set on the draft and next season. although marc is probably an exception to this.

Reason Academy 4day team hasnt been submitted is i am waiting on the 1day manager to reply to my email which i sent him regarding a swap of players. Untill then, i cant do anything. So my apologies to you guys if you are inconvinenced in any way.

I reckon that in future, managers that are interested in being an All Stars manager should put their names forward and then only one is chosen for each of the FC and OD sides.
Too many people are just mucking things up through laziness or disinterest or both! Get your acts together those concerned!

I can't speak for the rest of the managers but I know for a fact that both Rich and I have been very busy with stuff on the site, and I personally have a lot of things going on as well, so we've literally only been able to get in touch with each other on a couple of occasions in the last fortnight.

I echo both Marc's and Graham's comments, firstly like Marc has said we have been busy but also CW in the last couple of weeks has had major issues with staff e-mails playing up, I know alot of our staff members haven't been able to send or recive any e-mails of late and that also inculdes those with CW.net accounts such as Blewys, so I have no idea if any of the mails going to him have been making it.

As for Graham's comments I agree there as well while I like rewarding the managers 4 managers per country is too many... it just makes decision making so long winded.

You have to talk between your co-manager, then once you have made a decision after serval e-mails you then have to e-mail the other format managers and they have to talk between themselves about what has been said and then it comes back again and you have to see and take action on what has been said.... so expecting teams announced and named in a week just isn't possible.

I resent the suggestions that none of the managers care about the series. Deckard and I are in the process of picking the first XI. The reason why we're a bit behind schedule is because he was called up to replace Jason and we had to adjust the squad to suit. No fault of anyone's.

Blewy might have intended to postpone the start of the All Star series, but nobody has been made aware. Also we can't post teams yet anyway, because we don't know the pitch conditions.
Either Blewy has got major computer problems, he is really really busy or he's incapacitited in some way. Hope he's okay!
I still stick by my suggestion regarding manager selections for next time round though!

Ok The delay is because there are still teams who i am waiting on squads...

If i have not recieved them in the next day or so i will select them and we will go from there...

blewy i rekin you should pick the teams now cos it has been delayed for over 24hrs plus it aint healthy for my star players losing match fitness and not being at preseason mini camp
