Flower XI 283/5 (S Friend 79, B Dale 66, P Marsden 57*)

Captain P. Marsden, struggling with form, carried the side home with an unbeaten 57. O. Rai Singh continued to be a dominant force, though this time with the ball. He looks certain to hold his place in the side despite players in the second team performing exceptionally well. Opener M. Beerala also continued the fashion of at least one oponer doing well for the side, with 84 in the first innings.

I'll fill everyone in at the end of the season. I am trying to ensure that the academy season finishes before the main comp season.

Gavaskar's XI plunge to 6th straight loss

Gav' s XI have lost 6 straight and new manager DarkHunter has said that unless the next round has a victory changes will be made. "The bowling is doing fine" Darky said " But the batting is just not up to standard, I mean a match were none of our players scored a 50 isn't good enough." Gav's XI were out for 160 in the first innings with Z.Marshall top scoring with 49. A reply of 279 put Gav's XI pretty much out of the match. The second innings wasn't much better. A score of 210 and a top score of 41 (K.Andrews) meant that Sober's XI only needed 93, which was reached with only 2 wickets lost.
