Season One Intake Ready for US Challenge
World Club Cricket will make its first move into the US market this week when the WCC Academy kicks off on Thursday. In a bold move by CEO Simon Fitzsimmons cricket will be played in ten American states this year with the chance of further expansion in coming years. In a big move by WCC several current stars will be lining up for clubs in the five week cricketing carnival including promising Yorkshire all-rounder Adil Rashid. While squads are still being finalised it was announced at this mornings press conference that Rashid will be spearheading the Kansas outfit, other WCC players to have already learnt their fate include Victorian wicketkeeper Adam Croswaithe (Iowa) and Queensland opener Ryan Broad who will be at Montana.

Delaware
Kansas

In what is expected to be a busy competition for the participating players, squads of just 12 players will be expected to take part in 24 matches over the duration of the carnival, with plenty of cricket everyday there will be lots of chances for the youngsters to shine.
