The Aussie T20I squad has been named with the statement no Test players are included (as test squad join up half way through T20 series). Big blow to Inglis and Hardie's test squad chances as they're in that T20 squad (plus both not in Aus A Squad)

Happy to pin these but please use some sort of consistent format for the title which is easy to search and parse. Having so much variance in titles makes it difficult to find old threads just by searching.
Thank you for the speedy response. I think this will have to come from the thread starter to format it...or some other avenue

Which format is preferred? Every single tour thread that is currently pinned has a totally different format?
Yes that's my complaint.

My preference is *Official* Country A in Country B YYYY. You can specify that it's a white ball tour if you like. But the point is that it's (a) immediately identifiable as a tour thread (this is the point of the "official" bit) and easy to search.

Good to see Bartlett, Ellis and Johnson back for T20 but isn't that a big risk playing all 3 that are coming back from injury? If playing them, why not Jhye Richardson who I think has played more cricket than those 3 this season?

This would he a good point if anyone cared about the results of these games. Playing one, might as well play all of them. If Tim David ends up bowling a full quota, noone really actually cares.

Very good point about Jhye though.

There have been only 13 Australian T20I captains with four of these having 2 games or less as fill-in captains, Gilchrist (2), Haddin (2), Watson (1) and Head (1)

Way to cheapen the captaincy with this series. So who will be the 14th T20I captain?

Inglis, Short, Hardie, Zampa, Maxwell?

Whatever it takes!!!
It will be interesting to see how Rizwan goes and if he goes well AND toes the party line of the PCB management, how long will it be before he replaces Shan as the test captain.

Inglis should captain. His understanding of politics shows he is of exceptional intelligence

How big is this series for Babar? His ODI record has been decent but if he fails here do you think Pakistan would think about dropping him for champions trophy because he failed in the last Worldcup & Asia cup as well?
