Whatever it takes!!!
Amazing cricketer. As a predominantly swing bowler, playing key roles in your team winning away in India and Australia is as good as it can get and he has done that. He has also kept improving with age somehow, the ****er. Test Cricket will be poorer without him. Wish him all the best for whatever he is upto next.

ATG Test Career.

Congrats to him on a great career. As an Australian, it's fair to say he has always been there for the last several series and run in from one end or the other. Kudos.
Definitely one of the bowlers of all time

In all seriousness incredible perseverance, fitness and skills. Have to have massive respect for him. Don't begrudge him being held up alongside the ATG bowlers

Great career. Thanks for being the butt of our jokes all these years, and all these clouds.

Amazing career. To put the longevity into context he’s a year older than Steyn who’s been retired for 5 years and debuted a year later.

International Debutant
Probably one of the players I least ike(cause my friends build him up too much, as a person he seems lovely and nice enough). However astonishing longevity from a fitness perspective, and to his credit, he got better with age, across conditions as well. A model of perseverance.

Cricketer Of The Year
Made his Test debut a month before my eldest was born - she's just graduated from Uni!! Amazing longevity and his stats from his 30th birthday onwards are just obscene.

The list of players who have had amazing careers yet come and gone during this period is pretty ridiculous too....Dhoni, Amla, Steyn, KP, Broad, ABDV, Warner etc etc

England’s most successful Test captain this century, Strauss, debuted after Anderson and has been retired well over a decade!!

Not to mention England's highest run scorer (and 5th of all time).

Others in the top run scorers list include Ross Taylor, Michael Clarke and Ian Bell.
