I reckon Cloete deserves one more chance. I reckon at most 15 managers are right into WCC, ie voting in polls. Cloete is one of the ones who has got right into things.

Give him one more shot, don't let all his hard with the TN side go out the poop hole...

I can't agree more
I think it would be dissapointing for one of the game's true fans Cloete to be kicked out. he's really keen about it, and i'll be willing to take one of his warnings if it get's him off

Although I agree in principle, rules are rules, and if there is someone waiting in the wings to take over, I think it's unfair on them if second chances are granted.

Nothing personal against Cloete, just feel we must be consistent!

If it was you Marc, would you take the same stance?

Yes I would as rules are rules.

Late submission is late, and I actually told the board this week that if my submission were deemed illegal then so be it. :P

It's not as if Cloete's not done anything for several weeks, he's still been contributing on the board. I think the rules should only kick a player out when there has been no contact with the manager for a while and there have been 2 non-submittals in a row with no explination. 2 spaced over a season then suddenly it's goodbye to your team is way too harsh in my opinion. Cloete's done a lot of work to get Colts where they are and to have his team given to someone else would be against the spirit of the game. He made a mistake, but don't we all? We ARE human arn't we?

We do need rules and we need to stick by them, but I can't see how kicking Cloete out of the Colts will be of benefit to anyone.

D'oh! Well you know what I mean! TN are one of the stronger teams as are Colts. And Cloete is one of the most dedicated managers around too.

I'm not sure what the situation is regarding a replacement, but if there is a waiting list, then it's only fair to go by the rules...

well thanks tonnes guys. i really hope i can stay as TN manager. but as marc says rules are rules and if blewy/rich/board/all managers want me to leave then i willl easily oblige. however if i do leave i would ask to be added to the waiting list. not that i want to leave. n e way thanks for all the support fellas.

Well iam happy for Andrew to stay around and the only point I wish to make is that last week Blewy gave the Indian duo a let off due to a power failure and them not posting their sides, however they still had all week to do so and as far as I know the power couldn't have been off completly for the whole week.

So really Blewy needs to decide if by letting those guys off he wasn't really following the rules like he has with Andrew and is that eqaully fair?

Anyway I respect the decision of Blewy and if he upholds his current decision then so be it, and I hope Andrew a quick return with another team in the near future.

In the mean time Kent require a Slave (sorry Assistant Manager) if you need to keep busy Andrew  :saint:

Im agreeing with rich here hes right , if the decision to let the missed posting last week due to power failure was let off , they still had the whole week to do so.. and yet they got a chance

And cloete is quite keen in this wccc and has contributed heaps , i still think he deserves a second chance

although some ( eg marc ) might say that we have to stick by the rules , if the rules can be bent for some ppl i think we should let it go for cloete / andrew as well !
