2005, new year, new attitude

i had my first competitive game of squash tonight for the year. towards the end of last year, i lost my desire to go on. i wanted to win, but didn't care if i lost. basically, i never tried. if i recall correctly i lost 13 of my last 15 games. the 2 games i won in that run where really easy game, where i didn't have to try to win.

tonight though, i won quite comfortably. 9/2 10/8, 9/3. i didn't really need any of my new attitude. semi finals tomorrow night, things are heating up. it'd be cool to reach the final on saturday afternoon. hopefully my new attitude can come to play. if i have to rely on fitness, i might be in some deep ****

i lost 3/1 damit. i had 2 game ball in the 3rd and 4th games...but couldn't serve it out. annoying

And I don't mean he is a Victorian and a national U16 champion, I mean, in the Victorian squash association or w/e, he is No. 1 for his appropriate age group.
